Yes, the "deep plane" term has gotten lots of traction in the lay press.
I simply explain that I do "my version" of a deep plane facelift, which I learned from Jack Owsley, back in the day.
I wouldn't go into the weeds of what a bi-directional, lamellar, high-SMAS lift is, or Connell vs. Owsley vs. Barton vs Hamra vs. others minutia.
